    When will I be charged for Scout professional monitoring?

    You will be billed automatically to your payment method on file at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).

    How do I update my payment method on file?

    Open the SmartThings mobile app and follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the Smart Home Monitor tab
    2. Tap Configure in iOS or "Setup" in Android
    3. Under "Professional Monitored Service" select Scout Alarm
    4. Tap Scout Alarm to manage your location 
    5. Scroll down to "Credit Card" and tap the icon next to your saved credit card information 
    6. Add your new payment information and click Submit

    How do I cancel Scout Professional Monitoring?

    Open the SmartThings mobile app and follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the Smart Home Monitor tab
    2. Tap Configure in iOS or Setup in Android
    3. Under "Professional Monitored Service" select Scout Alarm
    4. Tap Scout Alarm to manage your location 
    5. Under "Edit your Monitoring Plan", tap Edit 
    6. Select Monitoring Plan
    7. Scroll to the bottom and select cancel your monitoring plan. (Note: The cancellation will occur immediately, do not tap unless you intend to cancel.)

    Your professional monitoring subscription will cease at the end of your billing cycle.

    How do I reactivate Scout Professional Monitoring?

    Open the SmartThings mobile app and follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the "Smart Home Monitor" tab
    2. Tap Configure in iOS or Setup in Android
    3. Under "Professional Monitored Service" select Scout Alarm
    4. Tap Scout Alarm to manage your location 
    5. Under "Edit your Monitoring Plan", tap Edit 
    6. Select Reactivate Monitoring Plan
    7. Your monitoring plan has been reactivated!

    How do I change my plan from monthly to yearly?

    Open the SmartThings mobile app and follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the Smart Home Monitor tab
    2. Tap Configure in iOS or Setup in Android
    3. Under "Professional Monitored Service" select Scout Alarm
    4. Tap Scout Alarm to manage your location 
    5. Under "Edit your Monitoring Plan", tap Edit 
    6. Select "Monitoring Plan"
    7. Under "Choose a Plan", tap Select next to "Yearly"
    8. Your monitoring plan has been updated!

    How do I change my monitoring plan from yearly to monthly?
