Shipping and Orders

    When will I receive my order?

    Scout orders ship within 1-3 business days via UPS Ground. You can expect to receive your order 5-7 business days after your order has shipped.

    Does Scout offer international shipping?

    As of 2015, Scout only ships to and supports systems within the United States. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates on international shipping and support.

    Can I use my Scout outside the US?

    If you purchase Scout domestically and use it outside of the US, technical issues may occur. Unless your Scout kit was purchased when we supported international shipping in 2014, we can’t provide technical support if you experience connection or technical issues abroad. We also do not offer refunds or returns on orders shipped and/or used internationally.

    Do you offer expedited shipping options?

    We don’t offer expedited shipping options on the checkout page. However, if you wish to expedite your order, we can offer faster shipping for an additional charge. Before placing your order, please send us an email at orders@scoutalarm.com to inquire about expedited shipping. Any additional shipping costs will be charged to your payment method on file.

    When will I receive my tracking number?

    You’ll receive your tracking number as soon as we ship your order (1-3 business days after you place the order).

    I haven’t received a tracking number. What should I do?

    If it has been over 3 business days since you placed your order, please email us at orders@scoutalarm.com and we’ll help you out.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. We also accept payments through Affirm.

    When will my payment method be charged?

    Payments are authorized immediately and processed approximately 24 hours after your order has been placed.

    Can I add or remove products from my order after it has been submitted?

    If you ordered your Scout system within the last 24 hours, please email orders@scoutalarm.com or give us a call at 1-844-AT-SCOUT to make changes to your order. If your order already shipped, we may need to issue a return label for unwanted items. For additional items, you may need to place a second order.

    How can I cancel my order?

    If you’d like to cancel an order, please email orders@scoutalarm.com. If possible, please contact us within 24 hours so that your payment will not be processed.

    How do I check the status of my order?

    All orders ship in 1-3 business days. Once your order has shipped, your tracking number will be emailed to you. To check on the status of your order, please email us at orders@scoutalarm.com.

    I need to change the shipping address for my order.

    No worries! Simply email orders@scoutalarm.com and include your order number, old address, and new address. We’ll be sure to ship your order to the correct address. Please notify us of any address changes within 24 hours of placing your order to prevent shipping delays.
